CUT-OFF RANKS (EAMCET)
ADMISSIONS
ADMISSION PROCEDURE In
Andhra Pradesh, for admission to the professional course like , B.Tech,
B.Sc (Agri), B.D.S., B.Pharm, the Govt. of A.P., conducts an entrance
exam called EAMCET every year in the month of April/May. The students
are given ranking based on the marks obtained in the test. SCHEDULE OF ADMISSION Usually the admissions by the EAMCET convener start in July/Aug. and end by Oct/Nov. every year by announcing the schedule in the leading newspapers. After the counseling is over, they fix last day for spot admission at college level for left over seats. This will be usually in November every year. Under management quota there will be lot of enquiries. All these enquires are registered formally. Date is fixed for admission after the announcement of the EAMCET results and communicated to all those registrants and admissions are given on the basis of marks at the Intermediate level for the candidates present on that day. Last date for management quota is also the same as for spot admissions. Generally the management quota seats are filled early. FEE We charge only the Govt. approved Tution fee of Rs.31,000/- per year for Convener-EAMCET(Category - A seats)admitted candidates .The fee can be paid in two installments in a year, during the start of the semester. For Category -B Seats(Management/NRI) the Tuition fee is Rs.95,000/- per year as fixed by the government. However Special Fee Rs. 5,500/-per First year and Rs.2,500/- remining ever year is common for both the categories. CURRICULUM & SYLLABUS The University Board of Studies in Pharmacy gives the academic calendar. The Board of Studies in Pharmacy of Osmania University decides the syllabus.
